Brachioplasty Brief

Brachioplasty, otherwise known as arm lift surgery is the procedure of removing excess or saggy skin from the upper arm. Brachioplasty can be required due to a number of factors, ageing, genetics and weight fluctuations being the main reasons. Brachioplasty is done by reducing pockets of fat, removing excess skin, tightening any supporting tissue than smoothing over the remaining skin. 

The process is simple and on average takes around 3 hours. Dr. Frati will in most cases, cut along the inside or the back of ones arm, then he will remove what is necessary such as the extra folds of skin and fat. Finally Dr. Frati will sew together the open cut to create a smaller, tight surface area.
